The Third Secret of Fatima

 Pope John Paul II spoke with Lucia de Santos, 93, a Carmelite nun, who believers say was the main recipient of prophecies from the Virgin Mary that included the spread, and then the collapse, of Communism.

The Vatican disclosed the so-called third secret of Fátima, which for decades has kept this shrine of the Virgin Mary at the center of conspiracy theories and doomsday cults. The Vatican described the secret as a vision of the 1981 assassination attempt on Pope John Paul II.

Cardinal Angelo Sodano, the Vatican secretary of state, explained that the one concealed part of the prophecies said to have been revealed to three Portuguese shepherd children by an apparition of the Virgin in 1917 was a vision of an attempt to kill a pope.

The “bishop clothed in white,” who is the pope, “makes his way with great effort toward the cross amid the corpses of those who were martyred,” Cardinal Sodano said as he described what he called an interpretation of the vision to 600,000 pilgrims gathered at the sanctuary where John Paul II had just beatified two of the shepherd children, Francisco and Jacinta Marto, and thanked the Virgin for saving his life on May 13, 1981.

“He too falls to the ground, apparently dead, under a burst of gunfire,” the cardinal said.

Mehmet Ali Agca, a Turkish gunman, shot the pope as John Paul drove through a crowd in St. Peter’s Square in 1981 on the anniversary of the 1917 apparition. Among the explanations the gunman gave prosecutors at a trial in 1985 was that his attempt was “connected to the third secret of the Madonna of Fatima.”

The cardinal’s announcement was an effort by the Vatican to put an end to the kind of fevered speculation that has at times overshadowed the shrine’s spiritual importance to hundreds of millions of Catholics.

Versions of the secret, broadcast on hundreds of Web sites (usually under headlines like, “Third Secret Revealed!”) range from worldwide nuclear annihilation to deep rifts in the Roman Catholic Church that lead to rival papacies.

The following are excerpts of the statement by Secretary of State Cardinal Angelo Sodano revealing the so-called third secret of Fatima:

“On the solemn occasion of his visit to Fatima, His Holiness has directed me to make an announcement to you. As you know, the purpose of his visit to Fatima has been to beatify the two “little shepherds.” Nevertheless, he also wishes his pilgrimage to be a renewed gesture of gratitude to Our Lady for her protection during these years of his papacy. This protection seems also to be linked to the so-called “third part” of the secret of Fatima.

“That text contains a prophetic vision similar to those found in the sacred scripture, which do not describe with photographic clarity the details of future events, but rather synthesize and condense against a unified background events spread out over time in a succession and a duration which are not specified. As a result, the text must be interpreted in a symbolic key.

“The vision of Fatima concerns above all the war waged by atheist systems against the Church and Christians, and it describes the immense suffering endured by the witnesses to the faith in the last century of the second millennium. It is an interminable Way of the Cross led by the Popes of the 20th century.

“According to the interpretation of the “little shepherds,” which was also recently confirmed by Sister Lucia, the “Bishop clothed in white” who prays for all the faithful is the Pope. As he makes his way with great effort towards the cross amid the corpses of those who were martyred (bishops, priests, religious men and women and many lay persons), he too falls to the ground, apparently dead, under a burst of gunfire.

“After the assassination attempt of 13 May, 1981, it appeared evident to His Holiness that it was a “motherly hand which guided the bullet’s path,” enabling the “dying Pope” to halt “at the threshold of death.” On the occasion of a visit to Rome by the then Bishop of Leiria-Fatima, the Pope decided to give him the bullet which had remained in the jeep after the assassination attempt, so that it might be kept in the shrine. At the behest of the bishop, the bullet was later set in the crown of the statue of Our Lady of Fatima.

“The successive events of 1989 led, both in the Soviet Union and in a number of countries of Eastern Europe, to the fall of the Communist regime which promoted atheism. For this too His Holiness offers heartfelt thanks to the Most Holy Virgin. In other parts of the world, however, attacks against the Church and against Christians, together with the burden of suffering which they involve, tragically continue. Even if the events to which the third part of the Secret of Fatima refers now seem part of the past, Our Lady’s call to conversion and penance, issued at the beginning of the 20th century, remains timely and urgent today.

“In order that the faithful may better receive the message of Our Lady of Fatima, the Pope has charged the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith with the making public the third part of the secret, after the preparation of an appropriate commentary.”

Fatima fanatics have held hunger strikes – one even hijacked a plane – to try to force the Vatican to disclose the secret. During John Paul’s first visit to the shrine in 1982, on the first anniversary of the assassination attempt, a knife-wielding Spanish priest tried to kill the pope, but was wrestled to the ground by security officers.

John Paul has always credited the Virgin of Fatima with saving his life. After he visited the shrine in 1982 to give thanks for his survival, a bullet extracted from his body was placed alongside diamonds in a gold crown worn by a statue of the Virgin.

In 1991, on the 10th anniversary of the attack, he returned again to give thanks for his life as well as for the collapse of Communism, which believers say the Virgin of Fatima also predicted in 1917.

The cardinal said the secret in its entirety would soon be published by the Vatican “after the preparation of an appropriate commentary.”

The pope did refer to the prophecies today, speaking of “Fátima, where these times of tribulation were foretold,” but he made no mention of the “third secret.” Instead, he once again gave thanks “for the goodness of God toward me, when severely struck on that May 13, 1981, I was rescued from death.”

The pope first learned of the secret a few days after he was elected in 1978, the Vatican said. He did not announce it himself today, said his spokesman, Dr. Joaquín Navarro-Valls, because he was “personally involved.” Vatican officials did not say why the secret was not revealed sooner after the assassination attempt in 1981.

In a new tribute at a prayer service at the shrine on Friday night, the pope donated to the shrine the ring given to him by Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski, the late primate of Poland. Cardinal Wyszynski, whose long fight against Communism in Poland inspired the present pope and millions of their countrymen, told John Paul after his election in 1978 that he would lead the church into the new millennium.

Dr. Navarro-Valls dismissed speculation that the gift was a signal that the pope was set to resign as “150 percent wrong.” He described the ring as “one of the pope’s most precious possessions,” given as an offer of thanks.

The fact that the pope put the two dead witnesses to the Virgin’s apparitions on the path of sainthood today was another sign of his devotion to Fátima. The two, Francisco and Jacinta Marto, are the first children ever beatified by the Roman Catholic Church who were not martyrs. Beatification, which is bestowed only on the dead, is the penultimate step before sainthood.

Before the ceremony, the pope, who turns 80 on Thursday, met privately inside the basilica near the children’s tombs with the third surviving witness to the apparition, Lucia de Jesus dos Santos, 93, a Carmelite nun, who believers say was the main recipient of prophecies from the Virgin about 20th century debacles. The Vatican said that it had consulted with Sister Lucia before making its announcement today.

The Virgin of Fátima was said to have appeared before three shepherd children on May 13, 1917, and on five later occasions. Lucia was 10. Her cousins, Francisco and Jacinta, who were 8 and 7, died in the influenza pandemic a few years later. Believers say two of the Fátima secrets were revealed in writing by Lucia in the 1940’s. The third secret was put in a sealed envelope and sent to Rome more than 40 years ago.

Interpretations of the secrets vary, but generally believers think that the first foretold the end of World War I and the start of World War II, and that the other predicted the spread, then the collapse of Communism and the conversion of Russia.

The latter prophecy, which came with a request that the church consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, made Fatima an ideological shrine for anti-Communists during the cold war. John Paul II finally consecrated the whole world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1984.

Fatima, like the rest of Portugal, also had fascist links during World War II, when Portugal was neutral under the right-wing dictatorship of António Salazar but traded with the Nazi regime. This month, the rector of the sancutary, Luciano Guerra, confirmed news reports that in 1976 Fátima received Nazi gold bars bearing the Third Reich insignia looted from Jews during the war, and sold them in 1982 and 1986 to finance construction at the sanctuary.

Today, many pilgrims, some wearing baseball hats emblazoned with the names of Jacinta and Francisco, cheered after Cardinal Sodano delivered his message.

“It’s wonderful that the pope knew the prophecy and survived it,” said Lucia Dias, 31, a lawyer from Sintra, who added that she had once believed that the third secret was a prophecy of World War III. She made her own prediction about the pope: “I think now he will die soon.”

Until today, besides John Paul and Sister Lucia, the only other living person believed to be privy to the secret was Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, the head of the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

In 1996, he told Portugal’s main Catholic radio station that there was nothing worrisome in the message, and that it remained secret because the Vatican wanted to avoid “confusing religious prophecy with sensationalism.”

Whether today’s announcement will appease some of the more fanatical devotees of the “third secret” mystery is unclear. Some of those believers, who choose to view the reforms of the Second Vatican Council as heresies predicted by the Virgin of Fatima, may dismiss the Vatican’s announcement as a cover-up.

Even some who attended Mass today seemed let down. “What they said all happened in the past,” Julio Estela, 33, a car salesman from northern Portugal, said after the cardinal spoke. “This isn’t a prediction. It’s disappointing. I think there’s more.”

Medjugorje

 

After hearing the word, “Medjugorje,” many people’s first question is, “What in the world is Medjugorje?”


Medjugorje is a favored place chosen by God in which the Holy Virgin Mary has appeared daily for nearly 30 years. Medjugorje is a place in which the Virgin Mary, fondly known as Our Lady, has said:


“…in a special way I have chosen this parish, one more dear to me than the others, in which I have gladly remained when the Almighty sent me…” March 21, 1985

Why does Our Lady say this when She has appeared in other places like Fatima, Lourdes, Guadalupe, etc.? Because Medjugorje is the place, the location through which a plan is actively unfolding. The Virgin Mary is being given a period of time to try and birth the world into holiness. As Our Lady bore Jesus in Her womb those nine months in which the Savior came to term, the world is placed in Her hands for a term to ready it for the return of its Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Our Lady preceded Her Son, and She is now preceding His return, preparing the world for the glorious moment. When will that be? We cannot know. Yet, it can be said Our Lady is preparing us to meet Jesus eye to eye. How can that be said? Because Our Lady said so.

“…Prepare yourself to look at Jesus ‘eye to eye.’…”


Is this the time of Jesus’ return? Again, we do not know. It may be five years from now, fifty years from now, or hundreds of years from now. What we do know is everything Our Lady is doing, saying, and implementing is in preparation for this moment of living underneath the antichrist and spiritually surviving the satanic system which will enslave the world to his desires and for the glorious return of Her Son.

Medjugorje cannot be understood by reviewing or seeing what is taking place in the present. Medjugorje can be understood only through prayer, and only then will one be able to grasp the seriousness of Medjugorje; the magnitude of what Heaven’s call is through Medjugorje. Medjugorje is the spiritual rebirth of the whole world. All these statements may cause people to raise their eyebrows over them, but in the same sense, it is something which should shake us, excite us, and awe us. To visit Medjugorje in this time of grace is to encounter the Living God. To walk with Our Lady in Her daily apparitions at this moment is greater than those who walked in their moment with Moses. It is a walk of Biblical proportions.

One might say that is a great exaggeration when you think of Moses delivering the Israelites from the Pharaoh and Egyptians, and all the miracles which happened that brought about their freedom from bondage. But bigger still, at the same time, Our Lady comes to deliver us, to free us from the bondage of sin that has enslaved the whole world – methods of sin through civilization advancements that man has never encountered in the world’s history. While for the Israelites, the bondage was that of slavery. They cried out to God to be rescued. For our time, our bondage is sin. For a long time, as the Israelites pleaded to be released from slavery, some have done the same, praying “save us O Lord; lead us out of the bondage of sin.” God has sent someone bigger than Moses. God in His mercy has sent the Holy Virgin Mary in this particular time of grace, to Medjugorje, for Her to deliver us through Medjugorje.

Our Lady has been with us 28 years as of June 24, 2009. Will She be here for 40 years? For the praying heart who discerns, yes, Her daily apparitions will be with us until 2021. She would have spent 40 years leading modern man out of the desert of sin. While the visionaries are still alive, Her annual apparitions to them still occur each year for the rest of their lives, though their daily ones may end. Her daily ones, as with Moses leading the Israelites for 40 years, will have fulfilled their purpose. But just as the Israelites had to battle to take the Promised Land to dwell in it, Our Lady’s children will have to battle, according to the messages She has given us, to live in peace. Each heart is a battle ground where unseen principalities war with it to take it away from God. Modern man’s battle is within the heart and Her messages are Heaven’s battle plan to defeat the enemy. Medjugorje is the central point for the battle of the Woman of Revelations Chapter 12.

Some speak much about Armageddon and what leads up to it, but it makes no sense for an antichrist to rise up to dominate the world without God sending something to counter and get us through tribulation. What we can see is that Our Lady is coming to give us messages once each month to be the medicine that Christians will need to live holiness under an antichrist system and to spiritually survive through that system. When we start seeing Medjugorje in this context, we realize that Medjugorje is the central point for the spiritual rebirth of, not only the world, but for the Christians and converts to gain the fiber of the early Christians in order for them to survive through tribulation to the end of the world. Our Lady has made it very clear that we have entered into the greatest battle the world has ever known. She said on August 2, 1981:


“…A great struggle is about to unfold. A struggle between my Son and satan. Human souls are at stake.”


This puts Her as a precursor for Christ sent to earth in preparation for Him, just as John the Baptist was sent to prepare for Christ’s coming. Being that Her first apparition in Medjugorje was on the Feast of John the Baptist, June 24, 1981, puts all this in a proper context.

So, Medjugorje is unable to be understood if you do not look, see, and pray to understand these things that have unfolded and how they have happened, the circumstances that surround them, and how they’ve come about.

So, what in the world is Medjugorje? It can only be answered with many answers. Medjugorje is the great struggle over souls. Our Lady is leading the battle. She is coming to crush the head of the serpent. But, Medjugorje is bigger than what we can comprehend, so it cannot be explained in this simple format or answered with these simple answers. Yes, we could answer, explaining Medjugorje in one word, love, but how can one then explain love. Israel’s thousands of years of history explains God’s love for His people. So only through prayer can one understand Medjugorje in depth, and the more one prays, the more one realizes the greatness of the gift we’ve been given to live in this privileged time, to walk with the Holy Virgin Mary while She walks the earth.


Medjugorje can only be understood in the heart, and for the heart to understand, the heart must love. This is why many, who try to understand Medjugorje through their intellect, reject or discern Medjugorje is not important. Their advanced knowledge dummies them down because Medjugorje cannot be understood by the mind, but only by the heart. Now is the moment to be with Her, for we do not know how long this moment will last. It is very explicitly clear that She says these are the last apparitions on earth.

Medjugorje is the story for the salvation of the world of which Our Lady spoke of January 25, 1987.



God has a“…great plan for the salvation of mankind…”


So we are in a time we do not comprehend, nor understand, nor have a full grasp of its significance. But one thing we can say is that Medjugorje is greater than anything that has happened with apparitions in the past. It is not another Fatima. It is not another Lourdes. It is the moment God has been preparing for since the beginning of the Church and even before; for Mary to come into this time, and be made known and loved as no other time in history. So, again we come back to the question: What in the world is Medjugorje? You can only come to understand it in your heart and through prayer, no other way.

Why in the world Medjugorje?

Medjugorje is a geographical central point between the east and the west. It is centralized. It is a place where many people go through, but it is actually a very difficult place to get to. So in a sense, just to get there is a pilgrimage for everybody. The apparitions of Our Lady began in Medjugorje when it was part of a communist nation. The fact that Our Lady appeared there under communism set the stage for Her to work through difficult situations. Through the centrality of its location and through what has happened in the past, through wars, communism, etc., Medjugorje was fertile ground for new life. It was a dead end road when you go to the village of Medjugorje. It is not an important thoroughfare. It was remote. It was very crude, but it was very Catholic, very devout. At the same time, it had the make up of needing revival and reconciliation because of feuds in the villages and struggles that happened in the past. So, in essence, Our Lady came the third day, in a vision to Marija only, and said:


June 26, 1981

“Peace, peace, peace! Be reconciled…”

It was on the way down Apparition Mountain. Our Lady appeared with a wooden cross behind Her. This was a great moment in the beginning of the apparitions in Medjugorje when Our Lady spoke those words. The villagers were in awe of what was taking place. Our Lady wanted revival, and revival can never come until there is repentance, until there is a seeking of forgiveness.

There was one day when Our Lady gave a message through the visionaries for the villagers. Fr. Jozo describes what happened.


“…She sent a message which said:

‘Before you start praying again today, look within your heart to find all your enemies. Forgive one another. Forgive everybody. Recommend them to our Father with joy. Pray for them. Then wish them a great blessing, joy, and great love.’


“At first I thought it was not very difficult. I repeated this message in the church, word by word. I asked them whether it was clear what Our Lady wanted. They said they understood. When I asked them whether we were going to do this, the church remained in silence. You can imagine, thousands of people silent in front of me. It was impossible to say yes to Our Lady. They could not lie. Although they met Our Lady every day, the people could not say yes. They remained silent. This was a shock to me, the deep struggle and emptiness of that difficult silence. Not knowing what would happen, I broke into that desert of silence, saying: ‘Listen to me; now we are going to pray for that gift. Pray in your heart. Close your eyes, go deep down into your hearts and pray to God to grant us the gift to be able to forgive.’

“The painful silence started again, the struggle inside our selves. With fear in my heart, I began to suspect: ‘Oh my God, what can I do for these people? We cannot truly pray, if we cannot forgive. Because we cannot forgive, we cannot truly pray. Our Lady does not let us pray our way because this is no true prayer. We cannot wish everybody well.’ I prayed fervently.

“After twenty minutes of this struggle in the desert, Our Lady sent us Her gift to break the barrier of silence that had been gripping us. She destroyed the wall and showed us the light. The biggest miracle among so many signs and wonderful moments, among so many changes in people and in nature I have experienced so far in Medjugorje happened that afternoon. As I held all these people in my heart, the greatest sign came.

“After twenty minutes, in the middle of the church, a man’s voice broke our chains, with a prayer from deep within his soul, a prayer that was Our Lady’s gift: ‘Jesus, I forgive them. Please forgive me.’ Then he began to cry in a powerful voice.

“We all cried together with him. Everybody felt in their heart: I must pray these same words. I have to forgive and ask forgiveness of the people and Jesus. And so we all did the same. That afternoon we were all searching for somebody else’s hand, as many hands as possible, to squeeze them and say: ‘Forgive me.’ We cried, we are happy and we felt we had been forgiven.”1

We always have to remember if there is ever going to be revival, you have to have repentance. You have to seek forgiveness. Medjugorje is where God sent Our Lady to do the things to change the hearts of the villagers that He wished to be emulated throughout the world. From communism to peace, bondage to freedom, sin to salvation, the world is in need of repentance to bring revival.

The village of Medjugorje and the people within are chosen. Our Lady said many times, “…I have chosen you…,” “…you are chosen…,” “…I have chosen this parish…” Our Lady said on March 21, 1985:

“…I have chosen this parish, one more dear to me than the others, in which I have gladly remained when the Almighty sent me…”


Our Lady said very clearly on May 2, 1982:

“I have come to call the world to conversion for the last time. Afterwards, I will not appear any more on this earth…”


That puts into context Her words, “I’ve chosen you.” It is a serious call to be a “chosen people.” Those “chosen people” then branched out from the village. First, the messages were for the visionaries. Then they came to understand the messages were for the villagers, and then they came to understand they were for the whole world. Anyone who goes to Medjugorje has the opportunity to be part of a chosen people, adopted by Our Lady in belonging to the village of Medjugorje. I know I’m chosen. All who accept Our Lady are chosen. We are the chosen people in this time of grace. Afterwards, others will be called by the chosen.

We should count it as a privilege that we have been to Medjugorje or have lived Medjugorje in our hearts. When Jesus gave the teaching of the Eucharist, many found it hard to believe, hearing Christ say to eat and drink of His Body and Blood, and they left Him. Everybody left Him, except for the twelve apostles. Their response to Jesus was, “Where will we go?” There are many people who have gone to Medjugorje, or read about it and experienced an initial conversion but have not grasped the significance of the call and changed their lives. Others have become too busy with their life to understand what in the world is Medjugorje. Many, being distracted or sidetracked, leave Medjugorje in their heart and abandon it, walking away from it just like many of the disciples who walked away from Jesus. And so, those who make it through this passage of time when the apparitions are over, are the chosen people, the apostles, the deliverers of the message who will bring these messages to every corner of the earth. We have to grasp that we are privileged to sit where we sit.

Again, only by contemplating these things will we grasp the grace in being involved, first living Our Lady’s messages and then being led to a way of life, a Medjugorje work as Our Lady’s plans call for. You have a role to play in this great plan, but many never learn of it, millions have failed to discover it. They did not listen, did not pray and were not able to comprehend how great a task Our Lady was giving them to take their role as part of the design of God’s plan to renew the earth. They failed to pray and discern God’s plan in their regard. Our Lady said:


January 25, 1987

“…You are not able to comprehend how great your role is in God’s design. Therefore, dear children, pray so that in prayer you may be able to comprehend what God’s plan is in your regard…”



We’ve seen millions of people go to Medjugorje, but a small, a very small portion of those can be identified as apostles who have consecrated, dedicated, lived their life in service of Our Lady of Medjugorje’s plans. To be Our Lady’s apostles is not up to man designating you to be so or not. It is up to you as to whether you will be an apostle or not. All are called to be, but in the end, how many of the chosen people will remain with Our Lady and become Her apostles?

All this is stated to incite an impulse to answer the call of being Our Lady’s apostle. One should contemplate that Medjugorje is mystical; it is Biblical. The last verses of the Bible, the very, very last verses of the Bible are exactly what Our Lady is doing in Medjugorje. She is giving a message once each month, twelve times a year. She has all the nations coming to Medjugorje. She is giving us medicine through the messages and apparitions. She has made it very explicitly clear that Her messages are medicine to heal the world, to heal the nations, especially the once a month messages to the world. We know Medjugorje is a tree that fruits out to nations all over the world. These messages are rejected by people who are too intellectual, saying “they are too simple.” They are simple because they are very clear. They are crystal clear and they are issued from God’s throne. Our Lady said:


July 25, 1985

“…listen to my messages and then you will be able to live everything that God tells me to convey to you…”



When you look at these last verses of the Bible, it is explicitly clear that it speaks of Medjugorje, of the refreshing life-giving messages, of the simple crystal clear messages from God, conveyed to you through Our Lady, once each month to change and heal the individual, who makes up the family, who makes up nations and nations, the world. Our Lady’s crystal clear words are the medicine flowing out of Medjugorje to all the nations, to give healing and life to all the world, to give and lead to eternal life. One should stop now, close your eyes, and pray to the Holy Spirit before reading the following last few verses of the Bible and then read Revelations 22:1-2:


“…the river of life-giving water, clear as crystal, which issued from the throne of God and of the lamb, and flowed down the middle of the streets. On either side of the river grew the trees of life which produced fruit twelve times a year, once each month; the leaves served as medicine for the nations.” (Revelation 22:1-2)


You have to be in total rejection not to see the connection with all this and what Our Lady has come to do, to heal the world as a Mother and as the Woman. For a prayerful soul, being in Medjugorje is mystical.

Medjugorje is of giant Biblical proportions. We have written this for over 20 years. Some scoff at it as “exaggeration”. They have not understood Medjugorje. Medjugorje, if it is anything, is a place of separation, a place that causes division – you from everything not of God. You will be purified by this separation. It is a call for you to decide for God or decide against God. God is giving us one last push, one last move to tell us to come through Her, to the Light, to Jesus, or you go away. You’re not going to be able to stand on the fence anymore. We are in a time of grace where you have got to choose which place you’re going to be. There is no way you are going to be able to be a little bit in sin and enjoy that and a little bit in the light. You’ll have to go one way or the other.

The main point to make on this is that Medjugorje is a place to call us to decide. It is a place of division. That is why you see a lot of turmoil in the Medjugorje movement. Because you have some family members changing their ways and life, and other family members don’t want to because they don’t want to change. Everybody is content to live in the middle. We all have been in the middle, but that middle ground is gone now, and as we go further and further we are going to have to decide. Our Lady just told us again on May 2, 2009:


“…You are rejecting me…”


She is coming. She wants you to accept not reject Her. If you do not accept Her, you are rejecting not only Her, but Jesus also. You’re going to go one way or the other, whether you want to or not. She actually gave us a message once, saying:


March 21, 1985

“…accept me…that it might go well with you…”


We are Hers. She is our last chance. She is the last draught from the well of God’s mercy to save us. This is what Medjugorje is all about, and yet countless more things yet to be understood.

"Dear children, I am calling you to spread the faith in my Son - your faith. You, my children illuminated by the Holy Spirit, my apostles, transmit it to others - to those who do not believe, who do not know, who do not want to know - but for that you must pray a lot for the gift of love, because love is the mark of true faith - and you will be apostles of my love. Love always, anew, revives the pain and the joy of the Eucharist, it revives the pain of the Passion of my Son, by which He showed you what it means to love immeasurably; it revives the joy for having left you His body and blood to feed you with Himself - and in this way, to be one with you. Looking at you with tenderness, I feel immeasurable love which strengthens me in my desire to bring you to a firm faith. Firm faith will give you joy and happiness on earth and in the end the encounter with my Son. This is His desire. Therefore, live Him, live love, live the light that always illuminates you in the Eucharist. I implore you to pray a lot for your shepherds, to pray so as to have all the more love for them because my Son gave them to you to feed you with His body and to teach you love. Where's God Today?

Where is God? Have you ever asked that question? Most of us have at one time or another. Its answer has more to do with His presence in our lives than with belief in His existence. We want to know -- where is God when I hurt, or where is God when something goes desperately wrong in my life? Our conclusions depend on what we rely on as a benchmark for truth in our lives. 

Do you believe the Bible is true, and that it is what it claims to be? If you do, then you recognize that it is the very Word of God. What a great place to begin looking for His presence.

Where is God? How Can I Know He Exists?
Where is God? If this question still needs to be settled in your mind, consider the evidence for God in His creation. Genesis 1:1 says, In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Do you believe it? Look around at the evidence. Psalm 19:1-2 tells us: The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. God wants us to know He exists. Where is God? We see Him in what He has created. 

Do you believe that God wants you to see Him? The Bible says He does. He reveals Himself to us. Psalm 98:2 says, The Lord has made known His salvation; His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations. 

God reveals Himself to us through His creation (see Romans 1:20) and through His Word: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). 

Finally, God desires us to know Him so much that He took on the form of a man, in the person of His Son Jesus Christ. Consider these words from Paul in Philippians 2:6-8: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 

John, another apostle, helps us understand that Jesus is the same God who created the universe when he says In John 1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men… And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 

We can see God in what He has created; we can see Him when we read His Word; we can see Him in the person and character of Jesus Christ. Jesus came to help us understand God, and to assure us that God understands us. John goes on to say: No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. (John 1:18). Jesus declares His existence and further reveals the truth about God.

Where is God? How Can I Relate to Him?
Where is God? There's a popular song that says God is watching from a distance. Or you may have heard Him referred to as a higher power, the man upstairs or a divine imminence. But the Bible tells us He is a person, and that He is near. James, a man history records as the brother of Jesus, tells us that if we draw near to God, He draws near to us (James 4:8). What more could we ask? Does that give you a picture of being cuddled? It should - God longs to cuddle you in His arms. 

Have you believed God is waiting to judge you? The Bible says He longs to forgive you. Over and over throughout the pages of Scripture, we read of His longsuffering nature. From Genesis through Revelation, we see a consistent picture of a God who continues to offer forgiveness, up to the very end of time. He is not willing that any should perish, the Bible says, but that all should be saved. The reason He sent Jesus into the world is so that we could all be saved! (John 3:17). Religions teach us we need to earn God's favor. The Bible tells us God's favor is a gift. All He is waiting for is for us to admit our need. Once we confess our sin, His forgiveness is ours. (1 John 1:9)

Where is God? What Next?
Where is God? In today's world, it's easy for us to think that we suffer alone. But if you have wondered where God is, so has someone else. Now that you know who He is and where He is, you can help someone else know where God is, too. 

Near the end of the Gospel of John, just before He was crucified, Jesus told His disciples about a comforter He would send, to remind them of all the things He had taught. That comforter, the Holy Spirit of God, came at Pentecost, just a short time after Jesus ascended into heaven. In the first chapter of Acts we read about that event as His disciples were filled with His Spirit and began declaring the Gospel message. 

What this means for you and me is that once we confess our sins, receive God's forgiveness and accept the gift of salvation through Christ, we can know the presence of that Comforter, too. With His Holy Spirit living in us, His nature gradually overtakes our own. As that happens, others will begin to discover where God is by knowing you.

Guns in America

There is much talk going on right now across the United States of America about the gun control orders being executed unconstitutionally by Obama. While these orders are being disguised as something good, many praying people know where this will lead: to the ultimate control of the people. A Friend of Medjugorje wrote in They Fired the First Shot 2012, that evil has been planning this all along, to take away the rights of the people, then control them; give the methods a disguise and call it “safety.”

The questions from believers then arise: How do we act? What is in our rights as a Christian to do? If we are a believer of Our Lady Queen of Peace, what should be our attitude?

We are called to maintain peace by God's command, and Our Lady has come as the Queen of Peace in Medjugorje to tell us that peace is what is lacking. So what do Our Lady's children do?

Will the day come when the Christians will once again be martyrs in the public square? The answer depends on our “responding” now, an on-going action of responding.

A crisis about confession...

When I was in seminary, the simple question, “What makes something sinful?” haunted me. Although I did not speak out about this question for fear of appearing stupid or even godless, it continued to disturb me deeply throughout all the years of my studies. 

When I became a priest, I took confession very seriously, yet this question continued to haunt me. After listening and sharing with many people, I began to to grasp deep within my soul that most people did not really understand the meaning of sin. When they came to the Sacrament, their confessions were superficial and routine, and it was very difficult to determine if they were truly sorry for their sins. 

As a young priest, I went through a further crisis. I asked myself, “Why doe we have the sacrament of Confession?” From the pulpit we announce the Good News. We talk about sin, and we ask people to renounce sinful habits. Yet, in confession I rarely heard that someone was truly responding to the call of Christ or to the priest’s sermon, or was convinced that he must stop sinning. Deep in my soul, I asked myself, “Then, why should we preach? Why should we confess?” I wanted to see the lives of penitents change a little from confession to confession. But I rarely saw much change and my questions regarding confession became stronger and more painful. 

In retrospect, I realise that it is such questions that begin the tension in many priestly vocations, when priests do not discover the true purpose of their vocations, especially the call to reconciliation. I also realise that many Christians have a difficult time with confession, especially our youth. Then I have to ask again, “Why should we confess to the priest?” It happens repeatedly that many who come to confession only confess unimportant things and hide the truly important areas of their lives. This has happened to every young man, especially in his years of adolescence. At that time many stop going to confession. Then the priest discovers that those who really need confusion are not coming to the Sacrament, and those who do come confess only superficially. 

I remember one believer who asked to discuss this Sacrament with me. She made it clear that she did not want to confess her sins, but just to discuss things. Her first question was, “Why do I have to confess to the priest who is simply human like myself? I can confess directly to God.” 

I stood perfectly still for a moment. I felt trapped. I had the same question myself. I did not know how to respond. Finally I replied: “I have a similar difficulty with confession. I have also wondered why we should confess to a priest who is, after, only human. Certainly, Confession does not exist to satisfy a priest’s curiosity or desire to know the sins of others. I am convinced that no penitent says anything really new. The priest has heard all sins, all human acts. I have the same concern that you have.” 

She was quiet for a moment. Then suddenly we both realised that there must be something more. Surely, the purpose of confession is not simply to expose our sins. There is something much deeper that happens. 

In confession a meeting takes place between the one who is wounded and the Doctor, between the one who is sinful and the One Who is holy, between the one who has been offended and the One Who gives consolation, between the one who has been humiliated and the One Who elevates the humble, between the one who is hungry and the One Who satisfies the hungry, between the one who is lost and the One Who leaves the ninety-nine in order to find the lost one, between the one who is in darkness and the One Who is the Light, between the one who has lost the way and the One Who said, “I am the Way,” between the one who is dead and the One Who is Life. 

We talked for a long time, and all the while we were increasing our understanding of confession.

Advent

Advent is a season observed in many Western Christian churches as a time of expectant waiting and preparation for the celebration of the Nativity of Jesus at Christmas. The term is ananglicized version of the Latin word adventus, meaning "coming." It is the beginning of the Western liturgical year and commences on Advent Sunday. The Eastern churches'equivalent of Advent is called the Nativity Fast, but it differs both in length and observances and does not begin the church year, which starts instead on September 1.^[1] At least in theRoman Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran, Moravian, Presbyterianand Methodist calendars, Advent starts on the fourth Sunday before December 25, which is the Sunday from November 27 toDecember 3 inclusive.^[2]

Latin adventus is the translation of the Greek word parousia, commonly used in reference to the Second Coming of Christ. For Christians, the season of Advent anticipates the coming of Christ from two different perspectives. The season offers the opportunity to share in the ancient longing for the coming of the Messiah, and to be alert for his Second Coming.

THE ANTICHRIST

MEN! WHEN THE HOUR COMES in which, according to the Divine Will, the purification and winnowing must take place on earth, then watch for the predicted and partly supernatural signs in the sky!
Do not then allow yourselves to be confused by those men and also churches who have already long ago surrendered to Antichrist. It is sad that until now not even the churches have known where to look for this Antichrist, although he has already been active among all men for so long. If they had only been a little on the alert they must have recognized it! Who can possibly act in a more anti-Christian manner than those who at that time fought against Christ Himself and finally also murdered Him! Who could have revealed themselves in a worse and also more obvious way as antagonistic to Christ!
They were the leaders and representatives of earthly religion; and the true teaching of God, as revealed in and through the Son of God, did not agree with what they had built up. Indeed, the true Message of God could not be reconciled with it, because the structure set up by priestly dignitaries was aimed at earthly influence, earthly power and expansion.
They proved quite clearly thereby that they were servants of the human intellect, which is directed solely towards earthly knowledge and earthly power, and is hostile and obstructive to everything that lies beyond earthly comprehension! Now since God remains completely outside the range of earthly intellectual knowledge, as also does the spiritual, the intellect is clearly the only real obstacle thereto! Thus by its nature it is opposed to all that is Divine and all that is spiritual! And with it logically therefore all men who acknowledge their intellect as of paramount importance, and seek to build only upon that!
The religious leaders of those days were afraid of losing influence among the people through the enlightenment of the Son of God. As everyone today knows, this was the main reason for the slanders they sought to spread against Christ, and ultimately also for the execution of the Son of God. They nailed Him to the cross as a blasphemer of the very God by Whom He was sent to bring enlightenment, and Whose servants they professed to be!
They tried to make people believe they were serving God; but how little did they really know this God and His Will, for Whose honor and earthly defense this Son of God, the Divine Messenger, was however … murdered by them!
This was clearly the disastrous result of their enslavement to the earthly intellect, which fought solely to maintain its influence thereby. They allowed themselves to become the executioner as tools of the Antichrist, whom they had secretly enthroned in their hearts. For this satisfied their human weaknesses - their presumption, arrogance and vanity.
Whoever expects clearer proof cannot be helped; for there is nothing more antagonistic to Christ, the Son of God, and His Words! And indeed Antichrist signifies the fighter against Christ, against man's redemption in God's Message. The earthly intellect drove them to it! This very intellect, as a poisonous product of Lucifer, is an instrument for him which has become the greatest danger to mankind!
Thus the disproportionate over-development of the human intellect in the past has grown into the hereditary sin for man! Behind this, however, stands Lucifer himself as Antichrist in person! He it is who through men was able to raise his head! He, the only real enemy of God! He acquired the name of Antichrist through his hostile struggle against the Mission of the Son of God. None other would have had the strength and the power to become the Antichrist.
And in his warfare against the Will of God, Lucifer makes use not merely of one man on earth but of nearly all mankind, thus leading them to destruction under the effect of the Divine Wrath! Whoever cannot grasp this most obvious fact, that only Lucifer himself could be the Antichrist who dares to oppose God, will never be able to understand anything of all that takes place outside the World of Gross Matter, that is, outside what is purely earthly.
And as it was then, so is it still today! Indeed far worse. Today, too, many religious representatives will wish to fight bitterly to maintain the earthly intellectual ordinances hitherto upheld in the temples and churches.
It is precisely this human intellect, blunting all nobler intuition, that is one of the most insidious growths of Lucifer which he was able to spread among mankind. All slaves of the intellect, however, are in truth Lucifer's servants, who are accomplices in the terrible collapse which must thus befall mankind!
Since no one suspected that Antichrist lurked beneath the intellect, he could extend his sinister influence all the more easily! Lucifer triumphed; for he thereby cut off mankind from any comprehending of all that lies outside the World of Gross Matter. From real life! From that place where contact is first made with the spiritual, which leads to the proximity of God!
With this he set his foot upon this earth as lord of the earth and of the greater part of mankind!
No wonder, then, that he could penetrate to the altars, and that representatives of earthly religions, also of the Christian churches, were bound to become his victims. For they too expect the Antichrist just before the predicted Judgment. Up till now the great Revelation in the Bible, like many other things, has never yet been understood in this respect.
The Revelation says that this Antichrist will raise his head before the Judgment, but not that he will first appear then! If it is said therein that he raises his head, this clearly indicates that he must be here already, but not that he is yet to come. It means that he will have reached the zenith of his dominion just before the Judgment!
Listen to this cry of warning, you who are not yet spiritually deaf and blind! Take the trouble for once to think quite seriously about it yourselves. If you remain indolent in this respect you give yourselves up as lost!
If you lift the protecting cover from the lair of a poisonous snake that suddenly realizes it is exposed, it will naturally try to rear up and bite this ruthless hand.
It is no different here. Finding himself exposed, the Antichrist will quickly protest through his servants; on being unmasked he will make a great outcry, and try in every possible way to maintain himself on the throne which mankind so willingly offered him. But all this he can only do through those who inwardly revere him.
Therefore now keep a sharp watch on your surroundings when the conflict begins! By their very outcry you will all the more surely recognize them, everyone who belongs to him! For once again, as before, fear of a pure truth will make them side with its opponents!
The Antichrist will again try desperately to retain his influence on earth. Observe his dubious methods in defense and attack; for he will once more make use only of slander and insinuations, since his followers are incapable of doing anything else. To stand before the Truth and refute it is impossible.
Thus Lucifer's servants will also fight the Messenger of God, just as they once fought the Son of God!
Be on the alert where such an attempt is made; for thereby such people only wish to protect Lucifer in order to uphold his reign on earth. A center of Darkness lurks there, even if the people habitually appear in bright earthly garments, even if they are servants of a church.
Do not forget what happened when the Son of God was on earth, but reflect that still today the same Antichrist, with a far greater human following, is striving to retain dominion over the earth, to escape destruction and to go on obscuring the true Will of God.
Therefore watch carefully for all the promised signs! Each individual must make his final decision. Salvation or destruction! For this time it is God's Will that everything which again dares to oppose Him shall be lost!
Every act of negligence will rise up against you in the Judgment! -The Divine Insignia will not appear above some church, nor will any priestly dignitary on earth bear the sign that he is the Messenger of God! But only He Who is inseparably linked with the Signs, Who therefore also carries them living and radiating with Him, as once the Son of God did when He dwelt on this earth. They are the Cross of Truth, living and radiating within Him, and the Dove above Him! They will become visible to all those who are blessed to see spiritual things, so that they may give testimony of it to all people on earth; for there will be among all peoples those who will this time be permitted to “see”, as the last Grace of God! — — —
These Sublime Signs of the Holy Truth can never be simulated. Not even Lucifer, who must retreat before them, can achieve this, much less a human being. Therefore he who still seeks to set himself against these Signs of God henceforth sets himself against God as an enemy of God. He shows thereby that he neither is nor ever was a servant of God, no matter what he has hitherto pretended to be on earth.
Be on your guard, lest you also be found among such!

How to Know God

What does it take to begin a relationship with God? Devote yourself to unselfish religious deeds? Become a better person so that God will accept you?

You may be surprised that none of those things will work. But God has made it very clear in the Bible how we can know Him.

The following principles will explain how you can personally begin a relationship with God, right now, through Jesus Christ...

Principle 1:

God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life.
God's Love
"God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." 1

God's Plan
[Christ speaking] "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly" [that it might be full and meaningful]. 2

Why is it that most people are not experiencing the abundant life? Because...



Principle 2:

All of us sin and our sin has separated us from God.
We Are Sinful
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." 3

We were created to have fellowship with God; but, because of our stubborn self-will, we chose to go our own independent way, and fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is evidence of what the Bible calls sin.

We Are Separated
"The wages of sin is death" [spiritual separation from God]. 4

This diagram illustrates that God is holy and people are sinful. A great gulf separates us. The arrows illustrate that we are continually trying to reach God and the abundant life through our own efforts, such as a good life, philosophy, or religion -- but we inevitably fail.

The third law explains the only way to bridge this gulf...



Principle 3:

Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. Through Him we can know and experience God's love and plan for our life.
He Died in Our Place
"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." 5

He Rose From the Dead
"Christ died for our sins...He was buried...He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures...He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred..." 6

He Is the Only Way to God
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.'" 7

This diagram illustrates that God has bridged the gulf which separates us from Him by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for our sins.

It is not enough just to know these three principles...



Principle 4:

We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives.
We Must Receive Christ
"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name." 8

We Receive Christ Through Faith
"By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast." 9

When We Receive Christ, We Experience a New Birth

We Receive Christ by Personal Invitation
[Christ speaking] "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him." 10

Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us what He wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for your sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. You receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will.

You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer

Prayer is talking to God. God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be."

If this prayer expresses the desire of your heart, then you can pray this prayer right now and Christ will come into your life, as He promised.

Adolf Hitler seduced Germany with false hope and Nostradamus is only a few letters off from Hitler's name- "Hister".

According to Nostradamus, the first two anti-Christs were extremely evil, and history has shown this to be so; however, Nostradamus speaks of a third anti-Christ who is more hideous than all the others combined. Someone that can cause apoclyptic changes, perhaps in the year 2012. Some have said Saddam Hussein, the fprmer dictator from Iraq, is now dead and can now be eliminated from the candidates. Osama Bin Laden, George Bush,or Barrack Hussein Obama, Could they be this evil tyrant?  Others say that he has not yet appeared.  What does Nostradamus say about this third anti-Christ?  First, Nostradamus tells us he will come from Arabia.

Out of the country of Greater Arabia Shall be born a strong master of Mohammed,
He will enter Europe wearing a blue turban.
He will be the terror of mankind.
Never more horror.

Here, Nostradamus says that a man from Greater Arabia will lead his forces on an invasion through Europe.  (A Greater Arabia State is the design by pan-Arab nationalism in which a single state would exist for the Arab nation across the Middle East and Northern Africa. Attempts at founding a Greater Arabia were attempted by Egyptian President Gamal Nasser in the 1950s and 1960s and Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi's proposal of an Arab Islamic Republic.) The Arab League has already been formed, is Greater Arabia next...before the year 2012?

In the year 1999 and seven months, July, 1999: King Mohammed VI of Morocco, a pro-posed Greater Arabia State, was enthroned July 23, 1999, just hours after the death of his father. Mohammed is the 18th king in the Alaouite dynasty, which has reigned in Morocco since 1666 (The Number 666 has been said to be the mark of "The Beast"). Is this the Beast that will lead the world to near annihilation, the 2012 apocalypse?

The Number of The Beast is a concept from the Book of Revelation of the New Testament of the Christian Bible. The Number of The Beast is 666 in most manuscripts of the New Testament, it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred, three score and six (666)  Rev 13:18. In the year 2012, The Beast will rise with apocalyptic consequences.

This man of sin will have the number 666 within his name, seal, and/or title Rev 13:18, for it is the number of a man, the greatest False Prophet. He is the one who shall call for men to build an image (a likeness, a replica) of the fallen beast of Babylon, a revival of the Holy Roman Empire Rev 13:15.  He is the one who shall have the power to make it happen!  He appears as a righteous and Godly man and is also given the power to perform miracles Rev 13:13-14 and 2 Thess 2:1-10. Will Mohammed VI rise to incite the 2012 apocalypse?

Nostradamus predicted a major 'King' of war was empowered in 1999, and Septermeber 11th has brought us into a long hard faught war on Terror, The war that will last seven and twenty years.

Nostradamus says that the war will be so terrible that the world will come face to face with final annihilation.  Here, he implies that the war might involve some kind of horrible weapon, possibly nuclear.  Nostradamus tells what the first target will be.

The sky will burn at forty-five degrees.
Fire approaches the great new city.

In this phrase, Nostradamus refers to a great city in the new world of America near forty-five degrees latitude.  Experts agree this could only be New York.  Many claim that this predicted September 11th. The sky did burn at 45 degrees, and it was the great new city. But is there more catastrophies to come for New York City?

By fire he will destroy their city,
A cold and cruel heart,
Blood will pour,
Mercy to none.

Is the New City at 45 degrees yet to be destroyed? He does give us some hope by telling us how this third world war will end.  He says it will end as a result of an unexpected alliance.

When those of the Northern Pole are united,
In the East will be great fear and dread...

One day the two great leaders will be friends;
Their great powers will be seen to grow.
The New Land will be at the height of its power:
To the man of blood the number is reported.

Again, the new land was a common term used by Nostradamus to refer to what we now call The U.S.  The countries of the northern pole could be Russia, China, and the United States.  We have recently seen the breakdown of Communism in Russia,  and a slight warming to China, increasing the likelihood of Russia, China, and the U.S.  working together against the source of evil. A Trinity of Allies aligned to combat the evil powers.

Nostradamus did say significant events that could change the world would occur in 1666, 1999, 2012, and 2096. In fact, he felt if we took it upon ourselves, we could change the outcome of the event he predicted.

Time will tell if the Iraq conflict, the World Trade Center attack, or Iran's alleged pursuit of Nuclear Weapons have begun the ticking time bomb of The 2012 Apocalypse, Armageddon, or the end of the world.

Nostradamus predicted the war with Napoleon, the American Revolution, the Civil War, the rise and the fall of Hitler, events in the British monarchy such as the abdication of Edward VIII, the assassination of Lincoln, the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and Robert Kennedy. He also predicted three reigns of terror by persons he named as antichrists.

What Nostradamus did prophesize that a great war would come, preceded by famine, drought and a series of other natural disasters. This war will last 27 years, after which there will be one thousand years of peace, or a new golden age.
Nostradamus speaks of a series of natural disasters caused by a comet that will allow the third Antichrist to disperse his troops around the globe under the guise of aid in preparation for a possible nuclear war, although in the strictest sense it is unspecific as to nuclear war or some other natural or man caused destruction. These set of actions could set off the apocalypse of 2012.

The 27 Year War-

The antichrist very soon annihilates the three,
twenty-seven years his war will last.
The unbelievers are dead, captive, exiled;
with blood, human bodies, water and red hail covering the earth.


If the war ends with 2012 apocalypse, and it is a 27 year war, one must assume the war started in 1985. The following events are the likely start of a long hard war of retaliation that has spilt the blood of many.


What happened in 1985?

On February 16, 1985, Sheik Ibrahim al-Amin issued Hezbollah's Manifesto. Shortly after, Sheikh Subhi Tufaili officially announced the formation of Hezbollah (also in 1985). According to Hezbollah's manifesto the three objectives of the organization are:
To expel Americans, the French and their allies indefinitely from Lebanon, putting an end to any colonialist entity on our land.

To submit the phalanges to a just power and bring them all to justice for the crimes they have perpetrated against Muslims and Christians.

To permit all the sons of our people to determine their future and to choose in all the liberty the form of government they desire. We call upon all of them to pick the option of Islamic government which alone is capable of guaranteeing justice and liberty for all. Only an Islamic regime can stop any future tentative attempts of imperialistic infiltration onto our country.

The 1985 manifesto makes it clear that Hezbollah intends to use armed force to achieve these goals and phrases its argument for this measure through the language of defensive jihad.

From the inception of Hezbollah to the present, the elimination of the State of Israel has been one of Hezbollah's primary goals. Some translations of Hezbollah's 1985 Arabic-language manifesto state that "our struggle will end only when this entity (Israel) is obliterated", however neither the original publication of the manifesto, nor those found on Hezbollah's website include the statement.

In an interview with the Washington Post, Nasrallah said "I am against any reconciliation with Israel. I do not even recognize the presence of a state that is called 'Israel.' " Throughout its history, Hezbollah has made statements and actions against the United States, in part because of the United States' support for Israel.

On March 8, 1985, a car bomb equivalent to 440 lbs. of dynamite exploded 9-45 metres from The Spiritual leader of Hezbollah, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadl-Allah's home in Lebanon.

The blast destroyed a 7 story apartment building, a cinema and killed 80 people but Fadl-Allah escaped injury.

The assassination attempt was believed to have been the work of Israel, or of the CIA, as a response to the Hezbollah bombings of the American embassy and of American and French peacekeeping headquarters in Beirut in October, 1983.

The operation was funded by the Saudis who, like the Israelis and the Americans, saw Fadlallah as a threat to their interests in Lebanon.

Fadl-Allah was born on November 16, 1935, in the Iraqi Shi'i shrine city of Najaf.

Najaf is home to the largest cemetery in the Muslim world (and possibly the largest in the entire world), containing the tombs of many prophets. Many of the devout from other lands aspire to be buried here, to be raised from the dead during the apocalypse of 2012 - Judgement Day.

Fadlallah, studied under strict religious guidelines for 21 years and was reportly invited back to Lebanon in
June, 1966 ( 6/66 ).

In 6 / 66 Fadlallah was invited back to Lebanon? A chilling reminder that his return was 'Marked by the sign of The Beast'. Can this be a coincidence, similar to King Mohammed VI from a 1666 Dynasty???

There he is using his hard line beliefs of jihad and Judgement Day, to spiritually lead the people of Southern Lebanon and Hezbollah into what I believe will be the 2012 apocalypse.

The City of Tyre (Tyrus or Sur) is in Southern Lebanon, a stronghold of Hezbollah, and is recognized in ancient times as Tyrus. For this Fadlallah earns his symbolic title of King of Tyrus. The Book of Ezekiel claims The King of Tyrus is Satan himself. Another odd omen comes to light when Fadlallah dies on America's birthday - July 4, 2010. The Prince that is to spark a war with Israel can now surface.

Son of man, because that Tyrus hath said against Jerusalem, 'Aha', she is broken that was the gates of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste: Ezekiel 26:2

In Ezekiel 26, The City of Tyre is used as Satan's stronghold to destroy Jerusaleum in the start of the apocalypse.
MABUS

This quatrain from Nostradamus has been analyzed, interpreted, and re-interpreted, and it has been generally accepted that the Anti-Christ's name, title, or alias is MABUS. But...Who is MABUS? The possibilities are intriguing.

Mabus will soon die, then will come,
A horrible undoing of people and animals,
At once one will see vengeance,
One hundred powers, thirst, famine, when the comet will pass.

The name 'Mabus' is or is associated with The Anti-Christ, and involved in the Apocalypse. Many have interpreted this as osa'MA' and 'BUS'h or ObaMA and BUSh, Although there are some other striking names in the news...

Many have interpreted the recent political situation with Iran as Apocalyptic. If we take the first two letters MAhmoud Ahmadinejad and President BUSh, we get MABUS.

If Former President Bush is one half of MABUS, this means that he planted the seeds to attack Iran . There are already plans for The U.S. to launch the largest air and sea attack against Iran in the history of the modern world. The start of WWIII, that ends in the 2012 apocalypse?

Is MABUS...M. ABBAS? Mahmoud Abbas is a leading politician in Fatah, a majority group in the Palestian Liberation Organization (PLO). ABBAS was also the first Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority. M. Abbas at one time denied the Holocausts existence- "The Zionist fantasy, the fantastic lie that six million Jews were killed."

Although M. Abbas is labeled a moderate by many leaders today, remember the organization he represents and has been a member of since it's founding (The PLO), #1 goal was the destruction of the State of Israel through armed struggle. The original PLO Charter stressed Israel's annihilation, as well as a right of return and self-determination for Palestinian Arabs.

The PLO was considered "the richest of all terrorist organizations" with $8-$10 billion in assets and an annual income of $1.5-$2 billion from "donations, extortion, payoffs, illegal arms dealing, drug trafficking, money laundering, fraud, etc.", according to a 1993 National Criminal Intelligence Service report. The Daily Telegraph reported in 1999 that the PLO had $50 billion in secret investments around the world.

The PLO has a multi-billion dollar war-chest to spark the 2012 apocalypse.

In May 2005, the Italian National Library in Rome made an amazing discovery. Buried in their archives was an unknown manuscript written by the famed prophet Michel de Nostradame, or Nostradamus (1503-1566). This manuscript was handed down to his son and later donated to Pope Urban VIII. It did not surface again until now, almost four hundred years later.
